Welcome to Morning Angels Junior School in Kadoma

Morning Angels Story 1999-2024

Morning Angels, now a junior school was founded as an Early Childhood Education (ECD) center, in January 1999 by its current senior directors; Mrs. Nyarai and Mr. Pension Makutu. The school started at a church premise in Mangwanya Street in Rimuka, Kadoma. It started as a partnership with the church until the dissolution of the partnership in 2002. It started with only two classes, an ECD A and an ECD B class and Morning Angels capped its first graduates in 2000. Mrs Sakala, was our first facilitator assisted by Getrude Gwetsuro, supervised by Mrs Makutu, the current Managing Director of Morning Angels Junior school.

Morning Angels continued to grow from its grassroots as it cemented its position as an elite education centre by introducing a Nursery class in 2000. It has always been on Morning Angels agenda to build and grow. In 2002 Morning Angels started building a block of classes at the Church it used to rent and at the time of dissolution of the original partnership, the classroom had been built up to roof level. By God’s grace in the same year, Morning Angels won a tender to acquire the stand where our school is operating from now. After buying this stand construction of one block of classrooms, block of ECD toilets and the office block commenced in 2003. These were completed by 2006 and the construction of the Hall was started. The school continued in this development mode until 2007. The centre continued to focus on Nursery school and ECD, standing out as its mission states – to be a step beyond the best; until it was registered as an Infant school in 2014.

After registration as an infant school the school started building another office block which currently houses the Grade 2 and 3s that were completed in 2017, just before the Covid years. The school was affected by Covid, like any other organization or institution and it innovated to Online lessons to survive during the Covid years. For years Morning Angels operated with its highest grade of Grade 3, until the year 2022 when we registered as a Primary School. Our strategy became that we would grow the school from grassrppts with our children, hence our pioneer and first grade 4 is our current Grade 6 class, going to become our first grade 7 class in 2025. After registration as a Primary school, Morning Angels kept its mood of development; the school built Chalets to accommodate our Grade 4s and each year we continued the developments until now, where we have our Grade 6 class.

A wonderful learning experience for children!
